Youth

Our Purpose

Our desire is to see middle and high school students become faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. We want students to know who Jesus is and what he has accomplished for us, love God and others, and make Christ known wherever God has placed them. We believe youth ministry should help students find and/or develop a faith that is not simply their parents’ faith or something connected to their teenage years, but a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our Priorities

Growing as Disciples

We want students to develop a strong foundation in God’s word and learn how to apply Scripture to their everyday lives.

Partnering with Parents

Since parents have a unique and important responsibility to disciple their children, we want to come alongside parents in the teen years by encouraging, supporting and equipping them as they lead their families.

Cultivating Love for the Church

We don’t want our students simply attending youth ministry; we want them participating in the life of the church. We want them to worship with the church, serve alongside other believers, build relationships across generations, and discover the ways God has gifted them to serve his people.

Developing Friendships

Fellowship, recreation, outings and other activities have an important place in youth ministry, as they provide opportunities for students to build friendships, develop relationships with leaders, and have a great time enjoying God’s creation!

Meeting Times

The Youth Group meets on Sunday nights at 6:00 pm in the Family Life Center (FLC). We also have a Youth Sunday school class at 9:00 am on Sunday mornings.
