The Struggle Is Real Church Website Banner

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young. But set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.  – 1 Timothy 4:12
to glorify God by coming alongside of parents to help lead their students to Christ and to lead them to give their lives for the mission of glorifying God by making disciples of all nations.
If you are a Christian parent of a 7th – 12th grader, we believe that you are the primary teacher of your child in God’s Word and God’s ways (Deut. 6:4-9, Eph. 6:4).  Therefore, what we want to do as a church and student ministry is come alongside of you and be another voice in your child’s life about the importance of knowing God through faith in Jesus and living for Him.
Mt. Anderson’s main ministry to students is our Sunday morning service.  It is in that meeting that students are able to be involved in the life of the whole church body.  We believe the students’ involvement with the whole church body is crucial for their development and growth as a follower of Christ.  In addition to the Sunday morning worship service, there are several other discipleship opportunities for the students to be a part of.
Discipleship opportunities for Students on Sundays and Wednesdays:
Sunday Morning: On Sunday mornings at 9am, there are Sunday School classes
for Middle and High School students (6th-12th grades).
They meet in the Family Life Center/GYM building behind the church.
Wednesday Night: On Wednesday nights at 6:30pm, students (7th-12th grades)
meet for teaching, small groups, and fun.  They meet in the Family Life Center/GYM.

Again, as a church, we want to help you parents prepare your children to live their lives for Jesus in this world.  Therefore, we want to have a good and fun time with them, but we also want to help these young men and women to see the beauty of Jesus so that they will be willing to give all for following Him, no matter what the cost.
