Pray for the safe arrival of the Ukraine Mission Team. The Ukraine team will be arriving in Kiev, Ukraine at 4:30pm local time (9:30am EST). Pray that the flight will arrive safe and that it will be on time. Pray also that all of the luggage will arrive with the team. There will be ministry supplies included in the personal belongings to conduct the children’s camps. Pray that everything will go smoothly as the team makes its way through customs.
Pray for Buddy and Janada Barnett. When the team arrives in Kiev they will be met by Buddy & Janada Barnett. Buddy & Janada are coordinators for Ukraine Challenge International. Ukraine Challenge is the organization that our team will be working through during the time in Ukraine. Each summer Buddy & Janada travel to Ukraine and spend the summer there coordinating with mission teams from the United States. This couple has a love for the people of Ukraine and a great desire to see the gospel shared throughout this country. Each year Buddy & Janada pick up teams at the airport and get them to their places of ministry. Pray for this couple as they minister to the Ukrainian people and to Americans coming to minister as well.
Pray for Ukraine Challenge. Ukraine Challenge is an organization that brings people who have the resources and desire to minister to the Ukrainian people together with the needs of the churches in Ukraine. There is great need in Ukraine for the gospel and great need in the churches trying to share the gospel. Ukraine Challenge helps to put the resources and the needs together. Ukraine Challenge facilitates volunteer teams from the United States every summer. Pray that God will continue to bless the work of the ministry in Ukraine.
