Back to 50 Days of Prayer Calendar
JULY 14, 2010 (WEDNESDAY)

Wednesday is traditionally prayer meeting day in our Baptist churches. Tonight in the Wednesday night service at MABC the church will hear an inspiring message about prayer from a nationally known speaker. Pray for our church. Pray for the ministries of MABC. Pray that God will continue to bless the church with power to do the ministry He has called us to do.

Pray for the New York team. During the week in New York our students will be going about performing random acts of kindness. While we are not sure exactly what this will involve, it could be things like giving someone a cold bottle of water, taking time to pray with someone on the street or helping someone out around their house or apartment. Scripture teaches us that as believers we are to be kind to one another.

Pray for a community project in Peru. One of the things that the Peru Team has been praying to be able to do is to perform some type of community project in the town of Caraz. We want to show the people that we do genuinely care and that we want to be a blessing to their town. This will also give us the opportunity to share why we are doing this. We want to build good relationships with the officials of the town and with the people. Pray that God will open the door for the team to do something to help out in the town.

Pray for prayer walking time. During the time in Peru, the team will take time to prayer walk the town. This involves just walking around and praying for the people of this town. This is something that everyone can do. Perhaps you would like to prayer walk your neighborhood while the Peru Team is prayer walking in Caraz. Pray for your neighborhood and pray for the people of Peru that need the good news of Jesus Christ.
