This marks the 5th week of 50 Days of Prayer. I hope that you are remaining faithful to pray each day and that you are growing in your walk with the Lord. Prayer is sometimes the thing that Satan fights against most. Prayer is something that we can neglect and think that no one knows about it. However, when we fail to pray we are powerless to do the work of the ministry. Keep on keeping on!
Pray for the youth in New York. New York is a very diverse city as well as the largest city in our country. This week our youth will be exposed to a different culture within the very nation that we live in. Pray for them this week as they minister in Jesus’ name. Pray specifically for MABC youth as they go out and invite people to come to the VBS hosted by Metropolitan Baptist Church. Pray that young people will have boldness to witness and invite.
Pray for the team in Peru. One of the ministry opportunities that this team will have is the opportunity to go into the schools in Caraz, Peru and have some time with the students. The team is planning to teach abstinence education to the older students. Promiscuity is not only a problem in the United States, but it is worldwide. Pray for those who will teach God’s design for sex and marriage. Pray for the students that they will be open to hear what is being taught. Pray that God’s Spirit will speak to the hearts of the students.
